Basic Storytelling
This is a basic story that you can generate in less than 15 minutes.
Insert Prompt into ChatGPT: "Act as a storyteller with expertise in sales, communication, and marketing to help me influence a potential buyer. Create a short, relatable story about a previous customer who faced a problem similar to my current prospect’s. The story should:
1. Show empathy for the customer’s problem.
2. Provide hope that the problem can be solved.
3. Build confidence in me as the seller.
Start by asking up to four relevant questions, beginning with the first one now."
Unleash Stories that CEO’s Can’t Ignore
This is a story that is structured to the decision maker that you are meeting with. The first step is to determine their category (Charastmatic, Controller, Skeptic or Follower) and then the second prompt you can tailor the story to meet their personality:
Prompt One: “Ask me four questions to help me determine through research whether the person I am meeting with is a Charismatic, Thinker, Controller, Skeptic or Follower. Based on HBR article, Change the Way you Persuade. Begin with question one now.”
Prompt Two: “Act as a storyteller with expertise in sales, communications, and marketing to help me influence the purchase of a decision-maker (potential buyer). Write a concise story about a past customer with a similar issue to my current prospect. The story needs to appeal to the decision maker, who has a " Charismatic, Thinker/Controller/Skeptic/Follower " decision-making style, based on the HBR article "Change the way you persuade" by Williams, G. A., and Miller, R. B. (2002, May). Ask up to four questions, beginning with question one now.”
